![]() ![]() The setup is that in the properties I do not have the data source set. I do have this set up as a package in SCCM 2012. Hi Rob ~ I know this is an old thread but I thought I would answer it anyway. * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model= "HP Folio 13 - 2000 Notebook PC"" Each does a unique WMI query to target the hardware. I do this to create softpaq dbs for each model type (it really improved deployment accuracy and strangely reduced the overall number of softpaqs.įor example, our Folio 13-2000s run "C:\Windows\SSM\SSM.exe" "\\.x\SSM\Folio" /Accept, and our HP 6000 desktops run "C:\Windows\SSM\SSM.exe" "\\.x\SSM\6000" /Accept. Each has ssm.exe and ssm.bin in there as well as all the softpaqs. I have ssm subdirectories for each model type. Run a command line "C:\Windows\SSM\SSM.exe" "\\.x\SSM" /Accept bat file in that folder that runs the following (this will create the \Windows\SSM folder and copy the SSM filee locally: bat file, change " \\Server\Share\ssm.exe \\Server\Share /A"" %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v7\CasPol.exe -pp off -m -ag 1.2 -url file://\\.x\SSM\ FullTrustĢa. set up a trust to that location by running a command line with your server info: I added the Command Line Step after "Install Updates" Step.ġ. Task Sequence Fails as soon as I add the Command Line step. Is it possible to add a "Run Command Line" Step to run the batch file ? I tried to add it but TS fails at this step. ![]() Restart in Windows PE, Partition Disk 0, Apply Operating System, Apply Windows Settings, Setup Windows and Configuration, Install Updates. I have a Build and capture task Sequence with Not sure how to execute this batch file using task sequence. Now I want to do this execution of bat file from SCCM. So, running bat file from a client machine also installs the drivers silently. Now I created a batch file named ssm.bat and put the command in the bat file as follows: It installs all the drivers on the client machines nicely. CVA files are created due to running SSM in the update folder.įrom a client machine I want to test if it works manually first. ![]() Coppied all the softpaqs in the update folder. I made a folder called Updates in the share. ![]()
